The Met Gala – A one stop shop to find all your favourite musicians, movie stars and models in the one place. This year’s Chinese theme sparked glamour, elegance and some good old cleavage (maybe a little more than we were expecting). Whilst many followed the theme, there were a notable few that turned heads with their own theme. To be worst dressed was impossible. One could be crazy or merely there.

Celebrities stepped out in designer brands such as Moschino, Chanel, Dior and Prada many of which were custom made to suit the event. Floor length capes were a trend on the carpet with stars such as Lin BingBing and Rihanna sporting the look. Lets not forget the oversized, draping gowns that made haute couture a norm and ready-to-wear an understatement. However a personal favourite would have been Anne Hathaway’s gold sleek custom made Ralph Lauren gown. Genie like Hathaway was sure to impress. Rihanna was also a huge talk of the night, donning ‘merely’ a large cape that she rapped around her body by designer Guo Pei. Her dress not only shone bright like a diamond but also sparked a series of pizza and omelette memes! Yet some of the moments in the Met Gala celebrations were the celebrities that wore more skin than dress. From Beyonce to Kim Kardashian – Sexy and curvy were the way to go.
